An Egyptian circular shaped millefiori glass turquoise bead, with red and yellow accents, pierced longitudinally for suspension. Millefiori technique, meaning “thousands of flower” in Italian, is one of the most ancient glasswork techniques, which can be traced back to the 1400 BC.

Measurement: 1.2cm diameter

Provenance: Ex. Important Spanish collection, JV Gallery, Madrid, acquired 1970s-90s.
