A fine Sumerian-Near Easter restrung necklace composed of shell and hardstone round beads, featuring a lovely cream colour.
Sumerian people valued jewellery as a sign of social status and a way to express wealth. Sumerian jewellery usually consisted in carefully carved beads from natural elements, such as wood, stone or shell.
