CMC M-25 Mercedes W154, 1938.

In 1938 a new regulation replaced the supercharged engines by a limited 3-litre engine. Mercedes developed a V12 engine with 485 HP that would dominate the competition in the following years. The refined line of this car was made possible by two petrol tanks: one at the rear of the vehicle and the second one above the driver's legs. This car was driven by R. Carraciola, H. Lang, M. von Brauchitch and D. Seaman. R. Carraciola was European champion in 1938, H. Lang in 1939. D. Seaman was killed in Francorchamps in 1939.
A small scratch of 1 mm near the windscreen.
Car sold without original box, but with a case for displaying it.
