Luristan Bronze Arrowhead Group - (3)
Circa 1200 - 700 BC

Left (A). A finely cast Luristan bronze spear head, featuring a leaf-shaped blade with a prominent mid-rib.

Middle (B). A finely cast bronze Anatolian trilobate arrowhead tip with a tang.

Right (C). A finely cast Anatolian arrowhead tip with a trilobite blade.

Luristan bronze comes from the province of Lorestan, a region situated in the area of modern South-Western Iran. Luristan weapons, such as this nice example, would have been used in everyday life but also buried together with the deceased.
