Lot of 2 Cutlasses and 1 Letter Opener
Engraved.

1) Letter opener
Bone or tooth.
Both sides are engraved with Arctic Hares
the handle is engraved with a seal.
Dimensions: 17 cm x 3 cm.
Patina of wear.
Very good condition.
1st half of the early 20th century.

Tchukchi ethnic group.
Inuit from eastern Siberia.
(Provenance: antique dealer from Ukraine).

2) 2 Cutlasses in Reindeer bone
With a geometric decoration, engraved with daily scenes: a hut, a reindeer, the sunrise, a landscape, a sleigh.

Steel blade.
The leather straps are more recent and were added.

Dimensions: 28 cm; length of the blade 13 cm.

For the smallest one: 22 cm, blade 8 cm.

Sami people.
Lapland.
Finland.
Former Norwegian collection.
