A finely cast Luristan bronze spearhead featuring a left-shaped blade which extends to a cylindrical shaft decorated with several ridges imitating the flax or linen material that was once attached to the shaft.
Luristan bronze comes from the province of Lorestan, a region situated in the area of modern South-Western Iran. Spearheads, such as this nice example, would have been used in everyday life but also buried together with the deceased.
