A finely cast Luristan bronze and iron dirk, featuring a narrow, tapering blade made from iron. The blade is attached to a bronze, crescent-shaped pommel features a lanceolate blade and a crescent-shaped pommel. Naturally corroded iron blade.
Blades such as this would have been made into two parts, the iron blade first and then the bronze pommel attached secondly. The pommel would have been made using the lost wax technique.
