A finely cast Luristan zoomorphic bronze pendant in the form of a quadruped. A cast bronze loop is attached suggesting that this object might have been worn as an individual pendant.
Luristan bronze comes from the province of Lorestan, a region situated in the area of modern South-Western Iran. Bronze kohl containers, such as this nice example, would have been used in everyday life but also buried together with the deceased.
