A. A finely cast Luristan bronze arrowhead featuring a deltoid blade. It has a barbed tang tapering to a point.

B. A finely cast Luristan bronze arrowhead featuring a leaf-shaped blade. It has a long, narrow tang tapering to a point

C. A finely cast Luristan bronze arrowhead featuring a deltoid blade. It has a short tang.

Luristan bronze comes from the province of Lorestan, a region situated in the area of modern South-Western Iran. Bronze kohl containers, such as this nice example, would have been used in everyday life but also buried together with the deceased.

Measurement: a-8.7 cm length ; b-13 cm length ; c-8.9 em length

Provenance: Ex. London Collection, formed between 1990 - present.
