1-Madeira wine bottle-EMA VIEIRA PEREIRA
Manuel Jose Vieira, the current owner’s great grandfather, inherited a collection of Madeira from his father and started his own production in the 19th century. His wines obtained a gold medal during the 1889 Paris International Exhibition. Ema Vieira Pereira is Manuel's daughter and the current owner’s grandmother. She continued her father’s work of producing in San Martinho.
Deep orange color with iodine rim. Intense concentrated, honey cake, some Cognac. Medium sweet start of taste, full, concentrated, nice acidity, intense but balanced. Slight grapefruit bitters on the finish. Very good wine.
