Studio Job - Alessi - Wall Clock - Comtoise

Studio Job - Alessi - Wall Clock - Comtoise
Italy - 2000-present - Tinplate with decoration

This Comtoise wall clock was designed by Studio Job for Alessi in 2016. The style and name do remind of clocks that were made in France at the end of the 17th century. The clock's highly expressive, colourful and symbolic style contributes to a distinctively cheerful expression in your room.

The clock is completely new and never been used including original packaging and manuals. The clock comes with a new AA 1.5 V battery. Ready for immediate use.

Studio JOB:
Studio JOB was founded by Belgian designer Job Smeets (b.1969) in 1998 in a renaissance spirit, combining traditional and modern techniques to produce once-in-a-lifetime objects that fall between design and art.
In 2000 another Belgian designer Nynke Tynagel (b.1977) joined Studio JOB, the duo went on to work with a vast range of high profile clients and collectors. As acknowledgment, this resulted in Studio Job's 2016 solo exhibition at the Museum of Arts and Design in New York.
