This egg fossil is attributed to a Hadrosaur species. Only little is known about this herbivore, because the fossilized remains that have been found were always very incomplete.
However, the eggs of these dinosaurs have frequently been found and some of them, like this specimen, are in excellent condition. Unlike eggs from the Protoceratops and Oviraptor, embryos have never been found in Hadrosaur eggs.
High-quality egg with 95% of its eggshell still intact. Suffered little pressure.
