Early medieval Gilded Bronze Merovingian Radiate headed brooch fibula - (1)

Merovingian bronze gilded brooch with chip carved radiated head with five applied ovoid knobs and very rare birds tail terminal.

Length: 50,6 mm
Width: 29,3 mm

Condition: Good solid condition, traces of gilding. One ovoid knob slightly bent. Iron pin missing, remains of iron spring visible. Signs of wear consistent with age and use. See images.
