A Near Eastern Western Asiatic gold drop bead, featuring a deeply ridged, tapering body. The bead has a loop attachment for suspension.

Such beads would have been part of elaborate necklace or bracelet. Jewellery played an important role across many Near Eastern civilisations. Gold necklaces, rings, earrings and bracelets would have been worn in everyday life but also buried with the deceased.

Measurements: 1.1cm length, 0.3g weight
