Ancient Roman Gold Earrings with Garnet Cabochons
Circa 2nd-4th century AD

A matching pair of Roman gold earrings, each featuring an elongated wire hoop with applied granules and a piriform cell with a beaded border, inset with a garnet cabochon. Hanging from the wire loop is a granulated drop pendant, further decorated with a circular garnet cabochon. A tapering, triangular granule cluster adorns the end of each earring.

Measurements: 6.6cm length, 6.60 grams total weight
