Abstract and Neo-expressionist artwork in which the artist offers a canvas with a vibrant and dynamic picture. Showing by means of the composition a great interest in the qualities that the materials can offer and in their textures. A representation in which the use of refined strokes and a great intensity in the colour used create a pictorial atmosphere that appeals to the viewer and creates a binding emotional narrative.
A self-taught artist, David Brush started in the art world inspired by his daughter. His works are highly influenced by artists such as Jackson Pollock (1912-1956), Karel Appel (1921-2006) and Willem de Kooning (1904-1997) and Kazuo Shiraga (1924-2008). His first solo exhibition, ‘Feria de Colores’, was held in April 2018 in Boadilla del Monte, Madrid. That same year he was awarded the Premio Revelación, by the Grupo Pro Arte y Cultura,
