Late Roman/Early Byzantine Glass Large Roman gadrooned glass bottle - 4th / 5th C. AD Perfect condition - 10.3×10.3×6.4 cm
4ème / 5ème siècle après J.-C.

Large Roman bottle in knurled glass.
Thick Roman glass bottle with flattened body, straight, slightly conical neck. The upper part of the body is adorned with gadroons.
Very lovely iridescence caused by the oxidation of the glass over the centuries.
End of the Roman period, beginning of the Byzantine period, around the 4th / 5th century AD.
Diameter: 10.3 cm, height: 6.4 cm - well-preserved - restoration.

Provenance: Galerie P.X.R., ref. 498.
Previously: former French collection formed in the 1970s
