Earthenware from Mons, in Bergen, where the manufacturer La Céramique Montoise was founded in 1920, by Antoine Dubois, Henri and Felix Souweine, Jules Deprez and Samuel Wolff. The factory operated until 1949, and later would be administered by René Dubois, son of the founder.
La Céramique Montoise mainly manufactured Art Deco ceramics and some of its pieces even go beyond the Art Deco style, already into a semi-modernist style.
