Beautiful, unique octogonal ceramic bowl, La Céramique Montoise Bergen, in Mons, by Antoine Dubois. Of Belgian origin, dates back to the 1920s, Art Deco period.
Large bowl with floral motifs, numbered with number 156, model number 768. Marked on the base.
Beautiful bowl, wonderfully multicoloured in soft shades. In great overall conditions, without flaws or repairs.
Earthenware from Mons, in Bergen, where the manufacturer La Céramique Montoise was founded in 1920, by Antoine Dubois, Henri and Felix Souweine, Jules Deprez and Samuel Wolff. The factory operated until 1949, and later would be administered by René Dubois, son of the founder.
La Céramique Montoise mainly manufactured Art Deco ceramics and some of its pieces even go beyond the Art Deco style, already into a semi-modernist style.
