Beautiful ceramic jar, La Céramique Montoise Bergen, in Mons, by Antoine Dubois. Of Belgian origin, dates from 1920’s.
Adorable and lovely jar, featuring floral motifs, numbered 846. Marked on the base.
Marvellous jar, wonderfully polychromed with tulip decor, in pink, lilac and blue tones.
Jar in great condition, just featuring the expected age signs.
Earthenware from Mons, in Bergen, where the manufacturer La Céramique Montoise was founded in 1920, by Antoine Dubois, Henri and Felix Souweine, Jules Deprez and Samuel Wolff. The factory operated until 1949, and later would be administered by René Dubois, son of the founder.
La Céramique Montoise mainly manufactured Art Deco ceramics and some of its pieces even go beyond the Art Deco style, already into a semi-modernist style.
