This beautiful tribal necklace is from Papua New Guinea and is completely handmade. The necklace contains big tiger Kauri shells and little brown and taupe shells. This decoration comes complete with a blackened metal display stand.

In Papua these type of necklaces were used during ceremonies and were custom-made for each person. Natural seashells have always played a crucial role in ceremonial traditions in Papua.
