Baccarat - silver-mounted cufflink box, Count's crown, circa 1860 - Crystal

Baccarat crystal cylindrical box, solid silver lid, part of a Napoleon III period toiletry trim, mid-19th century circa 1860.

Beautiful model in strong crystal, cut with cut sides, lid in guilloché silver, decorated with a large Louis XV style cartouche in which is engraved a crown of Count, on a monogram BM.

The lid has the Minerva 1st grade hallmark, as well as a goldsmith's mark.

The whole is in excellent condition. A beautiful witness to the daily refinement of the aristocracy during the 19th century.
