Langcat Bussum - Laat 't Paladijn zijn - Advertising board - Enamel

Description
Langcat Bussum - Laat 't Paladijn zijn - Advertising board - Enamel
Netherlands - Mid 20th century

Very nice big plate of Paladijn.

The term paladin was first used in ancient Rome for the chamberlain of the emperors and for the imperial palace guard, which Diocletian called "pretorians".

This sign refers to the Dutch cigarette brand Paladijn.

The sign has the text 'Laat ‘t Paladijn zijn'. There's something cheerful about the text. The word paladin is also put on the board in beautiful ornate letters, with a striking red 'P'.

The board has nice dimensions to be a real eye-catcher in the house, the board has a dimension of 116 cm x 77 cm.

Those corners and the middle mounting points of the board are somewhat damaged here and there over time. Furthermore, the board has a beautiful white colour and bright black letters.

Please take a look at the pictures for a good impression of the lot.
