Figure (3) - Neoclassical - Glass, Plaster, Unknown - Mid 19th century

Description
Figure (3) - Neoclassical - Glass, Plaster, Unknown - Mid 19th century
Belgium

Of two of the three 'prayer cabinets', the top of the ring is slightly damaged, see photo 6.

We don't even know where these come from. At Tussen Kunst en Kitsch (September 2016, Bergen op Zoom) we were told that they come from Belgium, period around 1850. The figurines are made of plaster with a thin glass plate in front of them. Material from the 'cabinets' itself unknown to us. Estimated value according to the expert of Tussen Kunst en Kitsch 750 euros each.

Given its fragile nature, shipping is not an option. Pick up or deliver in person if desired in consultation.
