NAME: Ceratites nodosus.
AGE: Trias, Muschelkalk.
ORIGIN: Sarrebourg, France.

The specimen measures 16.5 cm and weighs 1716 g. Note the beautiful suture lines and the presence of the living chamber.
The coasts that give the name ‘nodosus’ to the species are particularly marked here.
