The Grebo ethnic group lives on the border located between Ivory Coast and Liberia.
They carved masks which embody the spirits of the invisible world, living in the forests.
Created by initiates of high rank, these masks appear during rituals reserved to the initiates and in more profane festivities, destined to the whole population.
