Grafenthal - Fox in costume - Porcelain

Grafenthal - Fox in costume - Porcelain
Germany - Late 19th century

Beautiful fox in porcelain biscuit. Very nice water green colour for the base elements, pale yellow for the suit and orange for the fox. The fox is dressed in a suit, he sits and reads a letter, a flower to his buttonhole. His top hat is placed at his feet.
A very rare piece, (I did not find any others) that could be used at the time for a smoker, he could scrape a match on the back of the pedestal on which the fox sits.

Very good overall condition, a small restoration of the letter that has obviously been repainted is worth noting. Slight wear on the gilding of the small elements on his clothes.

Dimensions: 20 × 15 × 10 cm

The pictures are part of the description. Will be packed with great care and shipped with tracking.
