Harpoceras is a fossil of Ammonite that lived in the Jurassic, precisely in the Lower and Middle Toarcian.
This specimen is characterized by the presence of jagged, ammonite-type suture lines.
The shell has a flat and compressed spiral wrap.
A fossil of remarkable quality, coming from Lyon, France, a renowned area for the presence of the best specimens of this species.
The preparation was carried out in a professional way and the original matrix is a natural stand and allows to exhibit the Harpoceras in all its glory, to be shown in a beautiful Wunderkammer.
