Tea caddy (1) - .934 silver - Paulus Vermeulen - Haarlem - Netherlands - 1738
Good condition - used with small signs of aging & blemishes - 91 g

The antique silver tea caddy is of the baluster-shaped and hammered type. Has chased shell, leaf and floral motifs of, among others, acanthus leaves and flowers. The raised foot has a “knorren” edge and the lid has chased floral decor with ornamental knob.

Silver hallmarks:
"crowned lion facing left" (1st silver content, 934/1000) - city mark Haarlem - year letter D 1738 - master stamp silversmith "deer" (Paulus Vermeulen. Haarlem. 1732-1776).

Dimensions:
height 13.5 cm and a weight of 91 grams.

Condition:
in very good condition with the normal signs of wear/old age - see photos (are part of the description and condition).
