Crystal glass set (thirty pieces) designed by W.J. Roozendaal for Kristalunie Maastricht.
The glasses are part of the ‘Nymphea’ series, designed in 1952.
The cutting is titled ‘Nymphea’ after the identical flower.
The set consists of:
Wine glasses/port glasses/liquor glasses/liquor tray/beer glasses.
Each type of glass has six of them.
From: A van der Kley-Blekxtoon Kristalunie Maastricht:
‘Eugenia’ and ‘Saentis’ were new sets in 1952, that were based on the ‘Julien’ set (1937). The two new sets had derivatives: ‘Liverpool’, ‘Madrid’, ‘Nymphea’ and ‘Tradition’.
The glasses are numbered: 05038/07038/11038/13038/34861.
