Handcrafted inkstand in hallmarked 950 silver.
France, late 19th century.
Mercury's head hallmark.
It consists of two inkwells, a little bell in ormolu silver, and a pen holder. And it’s beautifully decorated with floral and plant rinceaux, bouquets and scallop shells. Resting on four feet decorated with a figurehead.
