As part of the 2020 edition of Pasteurdon, this researchers' blouse customised by Jean-Philippe Gournay is auctioned. The funds raised will be used to fund research.
Jean-Philippe Gournay lives and works in Paris, born in 1981.
He is part of this generation of artists in tune with his time and his environment. Creating strong pictorial works, almost in the image of the exquisite corpses of our childhood, and which carry multiple readings. However, everything makes connection in the mind of the young artist and, by games no doubt, he lays on his support symbols of our common environment chanted by more personal words. Allowing to scaffold an exponential image offering a phantasmagorical universe. If, at first glance, the joy transpires from his achievements, it is a much more acerbic look that gives birth to them. Jean-Philippe is therefore a hopscotch tracer, a marker of his time, for whom the sky is the only satisfaction. On the other hand, the only way to touch the finger is through an immeasurable number of boxes placed here and there in each of his achievements.
That's why ‘La Porcherie’ has chosen to promote its work.
Touched by his playful and sarcastic tone and struck by its plastic quality.
