A spectacular natural formation with Ammonites on original matrix dating back to the Lower Cretaceous, Albian, and coming from the quarries of Tulear, known as one of the most beautiful fossil deposits of ammonites in the world.
Specifically, we find specimens of Cleoniceras of different sizes that encircle a Nautilus.
Excellently preserved specimens, and characterized by spectacular colours and well-defined suture lines that give a unique design to each Ammonite.
In pictures it is impossible to capture worthily the beauty of these plays of light and the superior quality of these fossils.
