Silver ear iron with matching pins - .833 silver - Netherlands - Mid 19th century
Good condition - used with small signs of aging & blemishes - 84 g

Friesian silver “oorijzer” with 2 sets of matching pins. One pair for the regular costume and a pair for mourning. The “oorijzer” is hallmarked with the second silver mark. Other silver marks are difficult to decipher. Looks like an o with a crown and also the letter R. The “oorijzer” is in fine condition, but gold pins are missing. On the inside, two gold parts are still present. The “oorijzer” will be packaged with care and shipped with track and trace.
