Provenance: From an old British private collection.
This lot comes from a private collection of Juan Carlos Bahamonde. Over a period of twenty years he acquired his antiques from various prestigious dealers. His degree in Archaeology from one of the top British universities and passion for Chinese art is reflected in this lovely snuff bottle.
The snuff bottle depicting peony flowers connected by meandering tendrils, the rim and base with remnants of gilt. A very beautiful example of snuff bottle.
Height: 7.5 cm.
Condition: Good overall, two tiny losses to enamel on base rim; no stopper. NO repairs.
