New pen, never tested, never inked.
Ancora was one of the most important historic brands of Italian fountain pens, distinguishing itself in particular for the celluloid processing and the acrylic resins proposed in very beautiful and original colours.
The dating of models by Ancora is extremely uncertain and approximate, because there are almost no catalogues and price lists.
Around 1930, the first celluloid models were produced with black ebonite ends, ball clip and push-button mechanism at the bottom. They were followed by models with slightly streamlined ends, also produced in brightly coloured celluloid, which are very rare and highly sought-after by collectors today.
