A pair of porcelain baskets with large openwork lozenges. The base consists of two Tritons in the act of supporting the basket.
A gilding highlights the openwork ad the Tritons’ wound shapes.
One of the baskets bears the inscription “Tinelli 1833 - S. Cristoforo (Milano)”, a porcelain factory active in Milan during the first half of the 19th century.
This model is featured in “Dortu Tinelli Richard” di V. Brosio - Görlich Editore (p.129).
In very good state of preservation. It only shows some small gilding losses and some small signs of wear.
