Cadogan - Wine Ewer or Tea Pot (1) - Celadon - Porcelain - Peach - China - 20th C

Very lovely Cadogan in the well-known shape of a peach, which represents immortality or a long life in Chinese culture.
The glaze was applied using the well-known traditional celadon procedure.

Handle and spout in the shape of a branch with a leaf ending in a plum blossom and leaves on the body of the pot. The glaze runs from dark to light across the body. The bottom and interior are not glazed.

The pot has no scrapes or chips. A small irregularity was formed on the spout during the baking process (see photo 22).

The lot will be shipped insured with acknowledgement of receipt and a track and trace code, by PostNL.
