Bishopparigo, whose real name is Nicolas Poirier, is a 38 years old Parisian artist.
Specialized in the contemporary urban universe, he evolves in a colourful world where the smile is king, and the insouciance the master.
Early 2000s, the self-taught youngster developed a passion for street art. Strolling through the streets of the capital, he creates an inspirational book and begins to give life to his own universe.
Few years later, after several depictions of dreamlike creatures, he gave life to his symbolic animal, the Bishop bird.
His little birds are now his trademark, encouraging spectators to rediscover their child's souls.
Considered a dabbler designer, Bishopparigo creates his style everywhere,
and on everything! He starts with his favourite terrain, the street, where he exhibits his collages in his hometown. He then started youth illustration, a world that he knows well and which nourishes him, both by his colourful universes and by his overflowing imagination.
Then comes the turn of the canvases. New material, new approach... Bishopparigo reinvents itself again and again. His work intensified and his many collaborations inspired him more.
Over the past 10 years, the artist has evolved without ever really changing, which allowed him to work alongside great name, such as Google (Launch Google Home), MADE (Launch Lifestyle range), Eastpack (13 Art Fair, 1st edition), Pull In (Capsule collection), Mini Cooper (Salon de l'Automobile), Les Enfoirés (Clip 2018), Crédit Agricole (Local Decoration), Toms, Casio - G-Shock and many more...
