Early medieval Silver Germanic decorated Bow brooch fibula, rare type - (1)
5th - 6th century AD

Germanic silver alloy bow brooch fibula, triangular head plate decorated with raised knobs and circle-dot engravings. Silver bands around the bow. Rare type.

Length: 69,1 mm
Width: 20,2 mm
Weight: 10,2 g

Condition: very good and solid condition, complete with catchplate, pin is missing. Very appealing piece. See images for own impression.

Purchased by the current owner from a Dutch antiques fair in 2020.
