Charlotte Molenkamp (Tilburg, 1955) studied at St. Joost Academy in Breda and then visited the Art Academy in her hometown Tilburg.
Her work is sometimes abstract, then on the verge of figurative and recently she exhibits more often human figures that are sketchily rendered, but which always remain intertwined with the background of the canvases. Her work is primary, dynamic and fierce, aimed at conveying strong emotions along the shortest possible route. The canvases are often large in size, which makes the impression even more overwhelming.
Her work is included in many important collections, including those of the Royal Family.
This work of art comes from the company collection of EY.
