Sandro Symeoni, aka Alessandro Simeoni, was an Italian illustrator, best known for his pictorial works dedicated to cinema posters.
After attending the Academy of Fine Arts in Ferrara, in the early fifties he moved to Rome, where he began his activity as a cinema illustrator. In more than fifty years of his career he made over 3,000 posters, collaborating with the main Italian and American film studios.
Among his most famous works we can mention the posters of “Un americano a Roma”, “Per un pugno di dollari”, “La dolce vita”, “Profondo rosso” and “La grande abbuffata”.

This work is part of a collection of 2000 original drawings made by 100 Italian artists selected by i-AM Foundation for UNIQUE Edition Press.

Each work is accompanied by the certificate of uniqueness and published in the Catalogue Raisonné “Reference Guide to Italian Master of Drawing”, published by UNIQUE Edition Press exclusively for collectors.
