Offered here is a very nice magnum of Bénédictine DOM from the 1950's, in excellent condition, original cardboard box. It is a "paper & lead sealing" edition, so quite old, no UPC code, no volume indication,
Good opportunity to taste this famous old fine liqueur, Bénédictine is produced in Fécamp, since the 19th century, and it is a meceration of plants & spices in alcohol, with added sugar.
Everybody knows the name, but have you ever tasted the stuff? It is a very delicate and complex liquor, with a long history. Or you may use in in cocktails or in cooking, many desserts are enhanced by a few drops of Benedictine.
Offered is a 140 or 150cl bottle (magnum) - 31cm / 2,7 kg
The bottle is NOT leaking, despite the dark colour of the paper seal, it was laid down overnight and nothing leaked. I will protect the sealing with baloon & parafilm to prevent any leakage during transit. My packings are recommended by all my customers
