Rouyer Guillet - b. 1940s - 1.0 Litre
Cognac - Alcohol % unknown

Very collectible bottle of Rouyer Guillet cognac, no grade stated.

This is a typical "bistro" cognac bottle, for everyday use, but now around 80 to 90 years old.

All indications date this bottle back to the 1940's.

Guillet was founded in 1801, and associated with Rouyer cognac, they were historically based in Saintes. They were very active in the end of 19th century, they build a big indistrial complex in the heart of the city, but had to leave those buildings when cognac storage and production was banned from the city center for security reasons.

Level is good on this bottle.
