Description
Belgium - Galand - de tir de précision - modèle de luxe - système à bloc tombant - Percussion - Carbine - 6mm Cal
Excellent - 1880 - Barrel is Rifled

superb precision rifle, signed by GALAND, famous and renowned French gunsmith, installed in Liège from 1860 to 1890. It is one of the last rimfire models, 6 mm calibre, equipped with a falling-block breech (rolling block system type) before the manufacture of a central percussion rifle.

It works well mechanically, with two well-synchronised notches and clear percussion.
Perfectly functioning breech and automatic ejector.
Completely original with wood and parts numbered.

- heavy barrel with thin grooves (interior in good condition, impossible to show in photos), solid design and manufacture (3.2 kg barrel - 9.5 mm thick steel)
- precision model equipped with a differentiable sight and an adjustable backsight (advanced on graduated rail, adjustable with mallet).
- superb butt with cheek plate, gridded walnut, typical of Galland manufacturing

superb and very interesting deluxe rifle, in its patina, with signs of use and age, but still in a superb condition.

Home shipping with insured value and signature required upon delivery (parcel over 5 kg)
