A lovely pair of old carved lacquered vases. They were created around 1900 or in the early Republic period. The colour is a deep red. Landscape pictures rich in detail, each with different constellations in the central parts. On the shoulders beautifully carved floral patterns, which feel smooth and soft. Ornamental bands on the neck and base. The inside of the neck and base are lacquered in black. The lip and stand ring are equipped with a metallic ring made of brass. Overall in age-appropriate, very beautiful condition, some small retouching traces (restorations?) in somewhat lighter-colour lacquer. The lacquer over the metal rings is partially worn, the brass ring on the lip of one of the vases is slightly uneven.
The height of each one is about 25.5 cm, weight of each one approx. 485 g.
Suitably padded shipping with tracking number.
