Very good - 1870 - Barrel is Rifled - Not deactivated

Superb Revolver, Smith and Wesson Collection, No.1 1/2, Second issue.
 
Cylinder in very good condition, 5 shots, 32 calibre rimfire
Original nickel finish 75% intact, slight oxidation on the body, cylinder, barrel, and small gaps in the nickel plating in places.

3.5-inch round barrel in good condition, rifling marks still clearly present with some superficial traces of corrosion.

Markings:
‘Smith & Wesson, Springfield, Mass., Pat. Apr. 3.55, July 5.59, & Nov. 21.65’
Rosewood grip plates with much of the original varnish.
 
Heel of butt with no. 75630
 
Excellent mechanical condition and good state of preservation, works flawlessly, no play on the sides or in the air gap, good indexing.
