M IVL PHILIPPVS CAES, radiate and draped bust of Philip II right.

PRINCIPI IVVENT, prince standing facing, head left, holding globe and inverted spear.

Cf. RIC 218d var. (also cuirassed); cf. RSC 48 (same).

Original lustre still remaining.
