Hettier & Vincent - 1930 Art Deco lamp

Hettier & Vincent - 1930 Art Deco lamp
France - 1920-1949

A beautiful and rare French art deco lamp by Hettier & Vincent. A base done in lacquered mahogany holds a globe in clear frosted moulded-pressed glass. These globes were made for Hettier & Vincent by verreries des Hanots. This model is never signed. A different version of the lamp is represented in the old H & V product catalog in its 1st supplement. That one has a similar but lower base and another model Hanots globe.

The lamp is 29,2 cm high. And the globe has a diameter of 18 cm. The lamp is in very good condition. The base still has its original varnish without much wear. I have rewired the lamp with stylish cloth covered twisted cord. It now holds a European E14 socket. For the USA Canada or Japan I will wire it with an American candelabra base socket and US 2-prong plug.
As you can see on the last pictures the shade must be placed by unscrewing the nut at the bottom. I will ship the lamp with the shade demounted.

Safe packaging guaranteed : As specialized restorer of French art Deco lighting for over 20 years I ship my parcels worldwide with the fragile items well protected and fully insured.
