This is surrounded by the Collar of the Annunciation (the Order of the Most Holy Annunciation was the highest honour of the House of Savoy), and all of this is enclosed in a crown made from a laurel branch and an oak branch. On the sides of the coat of arms, the face value "L. 100' is reported, divided by the coat of arms itself with the 'L.' on the left and the '100' on the right. On top between the two branches is the Star of Italy (a symbol which is an allegory for the Italian land). Outside the crown, on the bottom left near the edge, is the Rome mint mark 'R'. Even further towards the outside, you can see a pattern made from a series of small cones.
