Beautiful sculpture by the French artist Georges OMERTH (act. ca. 1895-1925). He was a pupil of the sculptor Albert-Ernest Carrier-Belleuse, was active as an artist from 1895 to 1925 and exhibited in the salons of the Société des Artistes Français in Paris.

Omerth made countless figures and figurines of children, women and men in classical, art nouveau and art deco styles. The sculpture is signed by Omerth on the base and bears a picture with the title of the sculpture "Vendangeuse" and the name of the artist. The artist has captured the woman's facial expression with a lot of love for detail.
